1 Introduction, はじめに
In
Stage of Power and Altitude, 権威と高度の舞台
において、
I explained,
how
the concept of [power] and the concept of [altitude]
are linked and grasped as one.
And, I also explained that,
the driving force for this linking
is
the [orientational metaphor].
私は、[権威]という概念と、[高度]という概念が、リンクづけされ、一体となって把握される様を、解説した。
そして、そのリンクづけの原動力となったものが、 [方向性のメタファー] である、、という事についても、解説した。

The document, used in that description,
is [Kojiki], and
the document used in this content
is the one, that was established at an earlier time ( from that of [Kojiki]).
その説明において使用したドキュメントは、[古事記]であるが、
このコンテンツにおいて、題材として使用されるのは、
それよりも前の時期に成立した、ある文書である。
The document was established in China, a neighboring area to the west of Japan, and is called,
[易經(Yì Jīng)].
その文書は、日本の西側に位置するエリア・中国において、成立したものであり、その名は
[易経]
という。
I looked into the point as follows,
In the document (Yì Jīng),
Is [orientational metaphor] used, or not?
i.e.,
Does [expression, utilizing
[Linking [concept of [power]] and [concept of [altitude]]]
]
exist, or not?
私は、
このドキュメントの中に、
[方向性のメタファー] が、使用されているか否か、
すなわち、
[[[権威]という概念]と、[[高度]という概念]のリンクづけ]
を、
活用しての表現
が行われている箇所が、あるか否か
という点について、調べたのだ。
The results of the survey are presented below.
以下に、その調査結果を、述べたい。
Furthermore, from this point on,

2 About this document (Yì Jīng), このドキュメント(易経)について
First, let me briefly explain, about this document.
まず、このドキュメントについて、簡単に述べておこう。
This is a commentary on a type of divination in ancient China.
Although there are many uncertainties as to,
when it was established,
it is certain that, it predates (the above-mentioned) [Kojiki].
Because,
in [Nihon-shoki],
( that was written at the same time as [Kojiki])
there is a passage,
that describes about this document (Yì Jīng).(Fig 2.1)
これは、古代中国における、ある種の占いについての、解説書である。
それが成立した時期に関しては、不明な点が多いのだが、上記の[古事記]よりも前であることは、確実である。
なぜならば、[古事記]と同じ時期に成立した、[日本書記]の中に、このドキュメント（易経）について、書かれている箇所が、あるからだ。(Fig 2.1)
The upper part of this figure is taken from [Ref. 1],
the lower part is taken from [Ref. 2].
この図中の、上段部分は、[文献1]より引用し、
下段部分は、[文献2]より引用した。

In [Ref. 3], there is the description, as follows,(Fig 3.1)

To me, this is a difficult statement, but,
the various concepts
that appear here,
and
their relationships
may be illustrated as follows.(Fig 3.2)
私にとっては、これは難解な文ではあるのだが、
ここに現れた様々な概念
と
それらの間の関係
を、
以下のように図示することができよう。(Fig 3.2)
I have described, what the words in Fig3.2 mean in English.
図(Fig3.2)中の、語が英語で意味するところは、私が記述した。
In the above figure,
(1) is a concept, related to [concept [altitude]].
(2) and (4) are concepts, related to [concept [power]].
The character in the upper side of (3), means [concept [high]].
According to [Ref. 4],
in ancient China, in the beginning,
the character in the lower side of (3)
was also used,
to represent [concept [low]].
Therefore, we are able to think that,
(3), like (1), is a concept related to [concept [altitude]].
上図中の
(1)は、[概念 [高度]] に、関係する概念である
(2)と(4)は、[概念 [権威]] に、関係する概念である
(3)の上方にある文字は、[concept high]を表すものである。
[文献4]によれば、古代中国においては、初めは、(3)の下方にある文字は、[concept low]を表すものとしても、使われていたのだそうだ。
ゆえに、(3)も(1)と同じく、[概念 [高度]] に、関係する概念である、と、してよい。
In this way, we can see that,
[Link [power] - [altitude]]
exists, behind the description in this part of the document (Yì Jīng),
as shown in purple in the figure below (Fig 3.3).
ゆえに、この図から、
易経の、この箇所の記述の背後に、
[Link [power] - [altitude]]
が存在することを、見てとることができる、
下図(Fig 3.3)中に、紫色で示したように。
