🧡Exciting Life Interview #56 Berrin Akvardar, an Agile Coach
Today, It was a pleasure interviewing Berrin Akvardar, originally from Istanbul, Turkey🇹🇷, who currently works as an Agile Coach in Germany🇩🇪.
Both of her parents are artists. She shared that being raised by "very open-minded parents with whom she could discuss anything" has significantly influenced her life today.
Many of her colleagues have flexibly moved to other countries like Spain, Hungary, or elsewhere, seeking new places that make them happier. Interestingly, Berrin chose Germany because her brother was already living there. Being close to her brother was one of the main reasons for selecting this country.
Additionally, for the first time in our 55 interviews, when asked "What is the most important thing in your life?", someone responded with "Doing what's best for my child."
When considering her child's education, Berrin acknowledged that while staying in one place is important, she also recognized the value of providing an environment with language challenges and diverse opportunities.
She explained, "I decided on a big change, like changing my career and moving to another country, which in my case was Germany. This was a major decision, leaving everything and everyone behind and starting my career over in another company and country."
Her interview came at a time when I was becoming overly focused on the number of countries and people interviewed in my research. Berrin, who strongly emphasized that "everyone is an individual, this is a person," provided me with many valuable life insights.
When asked if she had any advice for us, she offered these words:
"I can only say BE YOURSELF in life. Don't copy anyone else. This is you, this is your personality, and this is what you would like to achieve in this world. Everyone has a different mindset, so be yourself."
Thank you for your cooperation. I'm looking forward to meeting you again in person!
