September is finally over and we are finally headed into my favorite month of the year, October! I personally can’t wait for my Halloween costume this year (Spoiler Alert: It’s french fries) and I can’t wait to see the cosplay and costume parties in REALITY! 

Also on a more serious note I hope everyone affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton are safe. This year has been crazy for natural disasters all over the world so please take care of yourselves and when you need an escape come back to REALITY, we will all be waiting for you with open arms!

Booths Have Become More Customizable!

Furniture items that were previously only able to be used in your Room can now be placed in your Booth!

You can use items like the Streaming Table, Streaming Chair, and Streaming Microphone or tons of other furniture items to make your Booth really feel like a professional streaming studio!

We hope users can use this new feature to further customize their stream and find new ways to use furniture items!

Message from the Staff

Metaverse! (Greetings)

This is DJ RIO, REALITY's CEO. 🦊🤘

As we enter October, the weather is finally getting cooler in Tokyo, where REALITY's headquarters are located. At the end of this month, we’ll be hosting the offline event REALITY CON 2024 in TOKYO, and the entire staff team is excitedly preparing for it, looking forward to meeting all our users. This year marks the third year since we first started REALITY CON, and with each event, more users look forward to it. The event now features not only exhibits and announcements, but also user-created content, such as this year’s music performances.

REALITY was founded with the mission to "become whoever you want to be," and I’m really happy that we can provide opportunities for our users to express themselves, not only in the digital space but also in the real world through events like this.

Moving forward, we will continue evolving the app, making it a comfortable and fun place for users worldwide to become their ideal selves. At the same time, we hope to gradually increase opportunities for offline connections and expressions like this one.

I'm Ichita, a Product Manager!

Have you all noticed that you can now place furniture in your booths? Now that you can sit on the furniture, your avatars' legs are finally getting some rest after standing for so long during streams! Jokes aside, you can now place various furniture items, including chairs.

You can add a microphone and monitor from the Idol Gacha to spice up your singing streams, grab a guitar for acoustic performances, place Sugarholic’s streaming table to make your chat sessions cuter, or use a roulette for creative plans! As a developer, it’s a joy to see so many ways for you to customize your streams.

In the future, we plan to release more furniture items that are easy to use in booths, such as streaming tables, so I hope you all enjoy them! See you soon!

Hello! I'm IKURA, the Community Manager.

Wait, is it already October?! What?! Only three months left until 2024 ends?! I'm still shocked by that, but this month is finally the time for REALITY CON 2024 in Tokyo! The community team is swamped with preparations right now. It’s a super busy time, so we’re working late every day!! But lurking in your streams while I work has been saving me from loneliness. By the way, I’ve always been the type to silently lurk and listen to streams, so please don’t be mad if I don’t comment, haha.

This year, there will be stage events, and I’m planning to share various things during this opportunity. So, even if you can't attend the event in person, I’d be thrilled if you could tune in online!
