【2019年9月19日 AFP】英ロックバンド、ビートルズ（The Beatles）の地元リバプール（Liverpool）で、故ジョン・レノン（John Lennon）が名曲「ストロベリー・フィールズ・フォーエバー（Strawberry Fields Forever）」を作るきっかけとなった孤児院の跡地が一般公開されている。


　レノンは子ども時代、叔母の家のフェンスを登って、孤児院「ストロベリー・フィールド（Strawberry Field）」に行っては、他の子どもたちと遊んでいた。

September 19 (AFP) - British rock band The Beatles' hometown of Liverpool inspired the late John Lennon to write their classic song ``Strawberry Fields Forever.'' The site of the former orphanage is now open to the public.


When Lennon was a child, he would climb his aunt's fence and go to the Strawberry Field orphanage to play with other children.
