山下達郎が1976年から1982年までに発売したアナログ盤等の全8アイテムを、リマスターしヴァイナルカッティングにて5ヶ月連続発売する。
世界中から注目が集まる中、2023年5月3日(水)リリースの第1弾アルバム『FOR YOU』に収録の代表曲“SPARKLE”の最新MVを公開。約40年の時を経ても愛され続ける楽曲と世界観を鮮やかに表現している。
コンセプト、アートディレクションにYOSHIROTTEN、ディレクターに黒柳勝喜を迎え、ダンサーのSORAKIとMisa Sugiyamaが出演。太陽、月の光を受け美しく輝く海をバックに舞い踊る男性ダンサーと、光を浴びながら水中に舞う女性スイマーの映像が重なり合う、ひたすら美しい映像作品となっている。
A total of 8 items including analog records released by Tatsuro Yamashita from 1976 to 1982 will be remastered and released as vinyl cuts for 5 consecutive months.
Amidst the attention from all over the world, the latest music video for the representative song "SPARKLE" from the first album "FOR YOU" to be released on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 has been released. It vividly expresses the songs and worldview that continue to be loved even after about 40 years.
YOSHIROTTEN was in charge of the concept and art direction, Katsuki Kuroyanagi was the director, and dancers SORAKI and Misa Sugiyama appeared. This is an absolutely beautiful video work that overlaps images of a male dancer dancing against the backdrop of the ocean, which shines beautifully under the light of the sun and moon, and a female swimmer dancing underwater while bathed in light.
