【医療英語を勉強したい方向けシリーズ】投薬英会話シリーズ　第1回 ④一般会話例及び抗不安薬

・はじめに

今回は、会話例をいれようと思います。
店員はS、患者さんはPで表現します。

１．一般的な会話例

　① ドラッグストアーで at drug store

S: Good morning! May l help you?

おはようございます。いらつしゃいませ

P: Do you have medicine for a cold?

かぜ薬はありますか？

S: Yes, we do. What are your symptoms?

はい、有ります。どんな症状ですか？

ワンポイントアドバイス
症状はひとつではないので、聞くときはsymptomsになります。

P: I have a sore throat and a runny nose.

のどが痛いし、鼻水が出ます。

S: I see. Do you have a fever?

そうですか。熱はどうですか？

P: This morning my temperature was 100.4 degrees.

今朝測ったら38℃でした。

セ氏と華氏の関係は、下部の通りになります。

分かりました。何かアレルギーはありますか。

S:　② Are you allergic to dairy products or any medications?

乳製品や何かの薬にアレルギーはありますか。

ワンポイントアドバイス
聞くときには上記二つ可能性があると思います。
使いやすいほうでまずは練習をして、もう一つのセンテンスも練習されるといいと思います。

P:　① No, I don't. ② No, I'm not. 

いいえ無いです。

S: Then, l recommend this medicine for your conditions.

それでは今の症状にはこのお薬をお薦めいたします。

S: Take three tablets at a time three times after each meal.

毎食後1回3錠を服用してください。

ワンポイントアドバイス
服用の場合には、一回量、回数の順になるので注意しましょう。

S: This medicine may cause drowsiness, so don't drive a car for at least 2 hours.

この薬は眠気がでますので、少なくても2時間は運転しないでください。

S: The price is 1,296 yen including tax.

お値段は税込1296円です。

P: Here you go.

はい(お札を出す)

S: From 2000 yen.

2000円お預かりします。

S: Here is change.

おつりです。

P: Thank you.

S: Take care.

　② 調剤薬局で at prescription pharmacy

S: May l help you?

いらっしゃいませ。

P: I would like to have my prescription.

この処方箋を調剤してもらいたいのですが。

S: Sure. Is this your first time here?

お預かりいたします。 こちらは初めてですか。

P: Yes, it is.

はい。そうです。

S: Do you have Japanese health insurance card?

日本の保険証をお持ちですか。

P: Yes, I do.

はい。持っています。

S: Could you show me your card?

拝見してもよろしいですか。

P: Here you go. 

はいどうぞ。

(確認後)

S: Please fill out this form. This is a medical history to record and check your medications.

こちらの質問票に記入お願いいたします。これは薬歴簿でお薬の記録やチェックするためのものです。

ワンポイントアドバイス
全部を記入する場合には、fill out、一部を記入する場合には、fill in　になるので注意が必要です。
一般的なアンケートなどを記入する場合には、fill outを使います。

P: OK.

分かりました。

5分後 書き終えて

S: Thank you. Today there are many outpatients. So, it will take 20 minutes. Do you wait here or come back later?

(ご記入)ありがとうございます。今日は外来が多いので20分かかりますが
こちらでお待ちになるか後で来られますか。

P: I will wait here.

こちらで待ちます。

S: Please have a seat over there.

それでは向こうの席でお待ちください。

ワンポイントアドバイス
座るといい方ですが、sit downを使うと、座りなさいと命令になってしまいます。そのため、一般的な言い方として、have a seatを使いましょう。

S: I will call name when it is ready. 

準備ができましたら、お名前をお呼びいたします。

P: OK

 わかりました。

２．抗不安薬について

S: Good morning. May l help you?

おはようございます。いらっしゃいませ。

P: Can you ill this prescription?

この処方箋お願いできますか。

S: Yes, we can.

はい、大丈夫です。

S: Is this your first time here?

こちらは初めてですか。

P: ①No, maybe this is my third time.

いいえ、多分3回目と思います。

P: ②I see. This is your first time this month.

今月は初めてになります。

S: So, please show me your insurance card and medical record handbook.

それで、保険証とお薬手帳お持ちですか。

ワンポイントアドバイス
お薬手帳のいい方ですが、ここではmedical record handbookと書いています。もちろんほかのいい方でもいいと思います。

P: Yes, here you are.

はい、どうぞ

S: Thank you. It will take about 20 minutes. You can wait here or come back later.

20分ほどかかりますが、こちらでお待ちになる、後で来られますか。

P: I will wait here.

こちらで待っています。

S: Ok, please have a seat over there. I will call your name when your prescription is ready.

それでは向こうの椅子でお待ちください。お薬の用意ができましたらお呼びいたします。

20 minutes later

S: Mr. Jones. Thank you for waiting.

ジョーンズ様、お待たせいたしました。

S: Today you have two kinds of medicine. Did your doctor tell you about this medicine?

今日は2種類の薬がでていますがこの薬は先生から説明ありましたか。

P: Yes, he did.

はい、説明ありました。

S: This medicine is called Depas and will help relieve your anxiety.

この薬はデパスといい、不安を和らげます。

S: Take one tablet at a time three times a day after each meal.

一回に1錠を毎食後1日3回服用してください。

S: This medicine may cause drowsiness. Please don't drive a car while taking this medicine.

この薬は眠気がでますので服用中は運転しないでください。

ワンポイントアドバイス
眠気のいい方ですが、drowsinessが医療的な言い方になります。
もちろん単語が出なければ、sleepyでもいいかと思います。

S: After taking this medicine for several days, you may feel better. But do not stop taking without doctor's advice.

服用後、数日後に気持ちが楽になっても、先生のアドバイスなしには服用を止めないでください。 

S: And this medicine is the same as last time for high blood pressure.

この薬は前回と同じ降圧剤です。 
(この文章は、他の薬剤が出ているときに使うために乗せています。)

◎他の助言について

1.Make sure to follow the directions on your prescription label.

薬袋の指示に従って、服用してください。

ワンポイントアドバイス
薬袋のいい方ですが、prescription lebelなので覚えておきましょう。

2. During the first week, you may feel some nausea. But the symptom will gradually go away. So please continue to take it.

服用して1週間は吐き気を感じるかもしれません。でもその症状は次第になくなりますので続けて服用してください。

3.皮膚疾患について

　① 軟膏など

This ointment is sticky but not sensitive to the skin.

この軟膏はべとつきますが皮膚にはやさしいです。

When you first apply this ointment, it may sting or your skin may feel dry. But after several days, the skin condition will settle down.

最初この軟膏を使用すると少し刺激や肌が乾燥する感じがしますが、数日後には落ち着きます。 

This cream contains a small amount of steroid. You don't have to worry about it.

このクリームは少ししかステロイドを含みませんので、心配しないでください。

Try not to scratch even when you feel itchy.

かゆくなっても掻かないでください。

　② 皮膚疾患の履歴について

Have you ever been allergic to any injection or medication?

今までに注射や薬でアレルギーはありましたか。

Are you getting any injections or medications from another clinic?

他の医院などで注射や薬を受けていますか。
