No matter how grand a house is, it doesn’t fill your stomach
I often think, "I want to read more," but I find it hard to make time for it. So, I tried one of ChatGPT's suggestions: I signed up for Audible.
Right now, I’m listening to Natsume Sōseki’s I Am a Cat.
The story is so captivating that I’ve also started reading it on Kindle Unlimited.
Listening to the audiobook and then reading the book myself has made the experience even more enjoyable. Sōseki’s profound insights into human nature are simply remarkable.
One phrase stood out to me:
"No matter how grand a house is, it doesn’t fill your stomach."
This line made me reflect on my own life. I work outside sales, so I see many impressive homes. Since I live in a small, old rental house, I sometimes feel envious of such grand homes.
But starting today, I’ve decided to think differently:
"No matter how grand a house is, it doesn’t fill your stomach!"
It really is true, isn’t it?
