(Nehemiah 4:7) But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,”　
(ネヘミヤ4:7）しかし、サンバラト、トビヤ、アラビア人、アンモン人、アシュド人たちが、エルサレムの城壁が築かれ、裂け目が止まり始めたことを聞いて、非常に憤慨し、"

In Nehemiah 4:1-5, the Bible reports that “When Sanballat heard that we (the Israelites with Nehemiah as their leader) were building the wall of Jerusalem, he was very angry and upset. He started making fun of the Jews (God’s people; this includes you today).　
ネヘミヤ記4:1-5には、「私たち（ネヘミヤを指導者とするイスラエル人）がエルサレムの城壁を築いていることを聞いたサンバラトは、非常に怒り、動揺しました」とあります。彼はユダヤ人（神の民、今日のあなたも含まれる）を馬鹿にし始めた。

Sanballat talked with his friends (evil conspirators) and the army at Samaria and said, “What are these weak Jews doing?

Do they think we will leave them alone (this is the evil character of Satan to always keep people in bondage)? Do they think they will offer sacrifices?

Maybe they think they can finish building in only one day. They cannot bring stones back to life from these piles of trash and dirt.

These are just piles of ashes and dirt!” Tobias, the Ammonite was with Sanballat. Tobiah said, “What do these Jews think they are building?

If even a small fox climbed up on it, he would break down their wall of stones!” Nehemiah prayed and said, “Our God, listen to our prayer.

These men hate us. Sanballat and Tobiah are insulting us. Make bad things happen to them. Make them ashamed, like people taken away as prisoners.

Don’t take away their guilt or forgive the sins they have done in your sight. They have insulted and discouraged the builders.

It will amaze you to know that people like Sanballat and Tobias are in existence today and they hate to see your progress.

Like Nehemiah pray that Oh God make bad things happen to people who have assumed the roles of Sanballat and Tobias in our lives. Make them ashamed, like people taken away as prisoners.

One interesting fact about the name Sanballat is in its meaning. This name means “secret enemy”.

Sanballat is representative of the enemy you don’t know. Pray and declare that anyone who has assumed the role of Sanballat will not win. Hallelujah!

Confession: Anyone who has become my secret enemy and is unhappy with my progress in life shall experience great distress from my God. Such people are brought to shame by my God today. My God will not forgive the sins they have done unto me. It will be a disaster for them this time by the power of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!
