GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL Day356 THE “SUDDENLY” GENERATION 「予期しない」世代

(Acts 16:26) Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.　(使徒言行録16:26）突然、大地震があって、牢の土台が揺り動かされ、たちまちすべての戸が開かれ、すべての人の鎖が解かれた。

A careful study of the Book of the Acts of the Apostles reveals that the word “suddenly” was used five times (Acts 2:2; 3:9; 16:26; 22:6; and 28:6). 

使徒言行録を注意深く読むと、「突然」という言葉が5回使われていることがわかります（使徒2:2, 3:9, 16:26, 22:6, 28:6）。

Amazingly, you will notice an extreme move of God into the affairs of men whenever this word is used. The word translated “suddenly” in our theme verse means, “unexpected, unaware, or sudden”. 

驚くべきことに、この言葉が使われるたびに、神が人の問題に極端に動いたことに気づかされます。この詩で「突然」と訳されている言葉は、「予期しない、気づかない、突然の」という意味です。

We see God demonstrate His mighty arm of the miraculous whenever this word is used. 

この言葉が使われる時はいつも、神が奇跡の力強い御腕を示されるのを見ます。

For example, in Acts 16:22-26, Paul and Silas were cast into prison for casting out an evil spirit in a girl who was into divination. 

例えば、使徒16:22-26では、パウロとシラスは、占い好きな少女の悪霊を追い出したために牢獄に入れられました。

They were beaten and put in prison as a result of this. Whilst being beaten, it looked like God was not doing anything about the trouble they had found themselves in. 

その結果、二人は殴られ、牢屋に入れられました。叩かれている間、神様は彼らが陥った問題に対して何もしていないように見えました。

But in Acts 16:25, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God: to the point where the other prisoners heard them. 

しかし、使徒16:25で、パウロとシラスは神に祈り、賛美を歌い、その声は他の囚人たちにも聞こえました。

Then the Bible said in the next verse, “suddenly” there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 

すると、次の節で「突然」大地震が起こり、牢の土台が揺り動かされ、たちまちすべての扉が開かれ、すべての人の鎖が解かれたのです。

I call the Christians of today, “the suddenly generation”. 

私は、今のクリスチャンを「予期しない世代」と呼んでいます。

When we pray and sing praises to our God, sudden miracles take place. Pray and sing praises today for God to perform “suddenly” miracles for you. Halleluyah!

私たちが神様に祈り、賛美するとき、突然の奇跡が起こるのです。今日も、神があなたのために「突然」の奇跡を起こしてくださるように祈り、賛美してください。ハレルヤ！」。

Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit of God. Spend quality time with Him in prayer and receive a dose of the anointing every day. Pray and sing praises today for God to perform “suddenly” miracles for you.

Confession: As I sing and praise Jehovah, there will be sudden miracles, deliverances, the release of the supernatural, increase, and abundance for me today. I am enjoying “suddenly” blessings. Halleluyah!

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.
