(Matthew 6:11) Give us this day our daily bread.
(マタイ6:11）私たちの日ごとの糧を、きょうもお与えください。
The word translated “give” in our theme Scripture is an interesting Greek word “didomi” which can be pronounced as “didomee” in English. This word means “grant, deliver, bring forth, minister, and by extension to release a blessing based on the power that you have”. So our theme verse affirms that there is a daily allocation and release of heavenly blessings for you. This allocation is meant to address your needs for a particular day, time, hour, week or season. You are special to God that’s why He made it so. Again, the word translated “give” portrays a picture of a hand that has what you need. So all you have to do is to receive what that hand is offering you. That hand is the hand of God Almighty. That hand is the hand of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. No wonder, David prophetically declared that “blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah” (Psalms 68:19). Also, in 2 Chronicles 31:16, the Bible declares that “besides those males from three years old and up who were written in the genealogy, they distributed to everyone who entered the house of the Lord his daily portion ………..,”. Do you see that there was a daily portion for all those who entered God’s house in 2 Chronicles 31:16? Yes, there was! The day you made Jesus Christ your Lord was the day you became the house of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). This means your daily blessings have been prepared for you. Start claiming them now and walk in the blessings thereof! Halleluyah!

Confession: I am the house of God, therefore, my daily portion of heavenly blessings are readied every day. And in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I receive them. I receive my daily blessings. I will never lack again. Halleluyah!
