Hi everyone, this is Aki from Ohanasi Kagawa.
Finally, we have one day left until the end of the crowdfunding project.
So far, 239 people have supported us and we’ve been able to collect $19,030 (95%), a huge amount of donations.
We cannot thank you enough for all your support and we are grateful that so many people have found potential in our project.
To meet their expectations, we are working hard with our passion to make Ohanasi Kagawa
“the world’s best place to connect with people."
Today, I would like to talk about our philosophy at Ohanasi Kagawa.
We hope that you can get an idea of our mission and our vision for the future.
Our Mission
Be the light that can weave changes
in individual lives.
This mission is our biggest motivation to maintain Ohanasi Kagawa.
I believe that one’s wonderful encounter can change their life.
And I believe so because I witnessed a wonderful encounter with my own eyes.
There was a Turkish lady, who had just arrived in Japan, and a Japanese lady, who had always wanted to interact with people from overseas. They found each other at Ohanasi Kagawa in person.
The two ladies started to hang out and travel together.
They both told me that if it weren’t for Ohanasi Kagawa, they couldn’t find each other.
How wonderful would it be if we can create more and more encounters like those two ladies had?
We will stay true to this mission to be the light that helps people to change their lives.
Our Vision
Create chemistry through world-scale encounters to build a new Japan and the world.
With the technological advancement and more transitions to online-based interactions, now we can encounter people from overseas more easily.
I see a great potential in this situation that online-based interactions became the “new normal” in our lives because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Just imagine...
Currently, we have about 150 Japanese learners and English learners from all over the world every weekend.
In the same place, people from various countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Spain, Germany, etc., gather and enjoy the time together.
Have you ever imagined the world like that?
If we create more and more places like that and become able to interact with people from different countries anytime we want...
“Would it give more chances for young people in Japan to look at and explore the world?”
“Can’t we spread the greatness of Japan to more people in the world?”
“If more people accept different cultures, customs, and perspectives, would the world be a more peaceful place?”
We want to create the brand new world that no one had ever imagined.
That is the future we envision at Ohanasi Kagawa. Our vision for the future.
