My Best Friend

みなさんは こころから しんゆうと よべる ひとがいますか？

ぼくは にほんで しんゆうと よべるひとは ひとりだけいます。

でも、せかいには しんゆうと よべるひとが ふたりもいます。

ぼくが しんゆうの Jくんと であったのは やく4ねん まえです。

ぼくは アメリカに りゅうがくに いくために えいごの べんきょうを はじめました。

えいごを たくさん つかいたかったので、かいがいのひとたち とすめる シェアハウスに すみました。

だけど、ぼくは えいごが まったく はなせなくて、めちゃくちゃ こわかった ので かいがいのひとと はなすことを さけて じぶんのへやに ひきこもりに なりました。

だけど、ルームメイトだった Jくんとは にほんごと えいごで はなすことが できました。

ぼくが にほんごを おしえたり、Jくんが えいごを ぼくに おしえて くれました。

ぼくたちは とっても なかよくなって いっしょに りょこうに いったり、パーティーに いったり しました。

かれが にほんを さるときに ぼくは なきました。

でも、４ねん たったいまでも かれとは ずっと れんらくを とっていて、おたがいの ゆめを はなして います。

ぼくが Ohanasi Kagawaを つくった りゆうの ひとつは にほんじんと にほんがだいすきなひとが  すてきな フレンドシップを たくさん つくって ほしいからです。

あなたの Best Friend は せかいの どこに いるでしょうかね?

English version

Do you have a best friend who you really trust with? 

I have only one person who I can call my best friend in Japan. 

However, I have two friends who I can call my best friend in the world. 

I met one of my best friends called J くん about four years ago. 

I started learning English to go to the University in the US. 

Since I really wanted to practice speaking English, I decided to live in a shared house where I could live with foreign people. 

I couldn't speak English at all, and I was scared to death to talk to them, so I avoided talking to them and shut myself in my room all the time. 

However, I could talk to J くん in English and Japanese. 

I would teach him Japanese, and he would teach me English. 

We really got along, and we would often travel together and would go to parties together. 

When he left Japan, I cried a lot, but I've been keeping in touch with him since he left me four years ago, and when we talk, we are passionate about talking about our dreams.  

One of the reasons why I created Ohanasi Kagawa is that I really want many Japanese people and those who love Japan to build wonderful friendships like J くん and me.
