A summer night in Los Angeles!
I brought Futaba Foods’ ice cream to my daughter's dance group as a treat!
Here's what I brought:
* Mini Soft Ice Cream (Vanilla, Matcha, Vanilla + Matcha)
* Mini Soft Ice Cream (Vanilla, Chocolate, Vanilla + Chocolate)
* Ramune Ice Bar
* Shaved Ice Bar with Strawberry Milk Flavor
As soon as they saw the packaging, everyone was super curious!
They stared at all four boxes, saying things like:
* "This looks so yummy!"
* "The packaging is adorable!"
* "Can I pick any of them?"
* "I can't decide!"
* "I'm so torn!"
It was so lively and fun, almost like the reactions you’d expect from a group of kindergarteners!
Some people even started eating before I could snap a picture, but when I asked them to smile for the camera, they said:
"Noriko, this looks so delicious, of course we're gonna smile naturally!"
And they all flashed their best smiles!
For Japanese people in LA, Futaba Ice Cream is a familiar sight, but for the mostly non-Japanese group, their reactions were totally unexpected!
* Almost no one knew what Ramune was or had ever tried it before.
* The mini soft ice creams looked so cute since that size doesn’t exist in the U.S.!
And Matcha remains a fan favorite!

「美味しそう！」
「パッケージも可愛い！」
「どれでも良いの？」
「選べない〜！」
「迷う〜！」
と差し入れ先が幼稚園でも同じ反応だろうと
思えるほどわいわいきゃーきゃーとにぎやか！
写真撮る前に食べ始めちゃう人がいる中
「写真撮る時、笑ってね〜！」
「紀子、こんな美味しそうなんだから
自然に笑っちゃうに決まってるよ！」
と、みんな最高の笑顔！
日本人が娘だけのこのグループでは予想外の反応も！！
・ラムネはほとんど人が知らない・飲んだことない！
・ミニソフトはアメリカには存在しない見たことない可愛いサイズ！
抹茶人気は不動！
