2021 Review vol.10(July at Kushiro Marsh)

Day 2 of the trip.

Unfortunately, it rained from midnight yesterday, so I drove the car.
I drove along Route 336 along the Pacific Ocean.

I entered Kushiro city after 10 o'clock.
Since I didn't stop anywhere, I decided to stop at the local supermarket to stock up on tonight's ingredients, have lunch, and enter the campsite a little early.

Today's place to stay is Takkobu Lake Auto Campground.

Yesterday it rained, today it rains again.
Summer in eastern Hokkaido is relatively rainy.

Maybe that's why I couldn't sleep much yesterday and was tired from traveling for a long time.
I decided to stay in a bungalow for consecutive nights.

The campsite is located in the Kushiro Marshland, and it is a wonderful campsite where you can get out of here.

On that day, I could only see about two groups other than myself, and probably because there were no people, wild deer were running on the lawn, and the chirping of birds from the forest next to me was like soothing BGM.

I felt as if I had become one with nature.
And I was surprised because the special natural monument cranes were walking around the site(゚ロ゚)

Probably, if it is sunny in the high summer season, there are many families and campers, so you would not have encountered such a lucky scene.

When you clear the grass in front of the campsite and go out to the shore of Lake Takkobu,
I found a place where the red-crowned cranes were pecking at the food(゚ロ゚)
I didn't make a sound for a while, so I peeked out from behind the grass.
There was a noise from the shade of the grass next to me...

The cranes noticed the sign, and when the male called out to the female,
It spread its beautiful wings and flew away while squealing.

It was as touching as a scene from a movie…

A traveler came out of the grass and apologized,
"I'm sorry ^^;",

On the contrary, I was grateful. Thank you, traveler!!
