JO1 Live in Kobe: Cafes and Lockers near World Memorial Hall
JO1's live concert at Kobe World Memorial Hall on December 7th, 8th, 11th, and 12th is almost here!
I used to live near Nishinomiya, so I went to Sannomiya (the central area of Kobe) quite often. I'll share some information about cafes and coin lockers around Shimin Hiroba Mae Station, the nearest station to the venue, based on my memory.
Cafes
There aren't many cafes around Shimin Hiroba Mae Station. I checked Google Maps, and it looks like there's only one restaurant and a couple of cafes in the nearest hotel.
You might have better finding a cafe near Minatojima Station, the next station over. Maybe that's good cafes because the students in Kobe Women's Junior College and Hyogo College of Medicine would use there.
If you want to relax in a cafe, you should find a seat in Sannomiya.
I thought there was a Ueshima Coffee Shop near the Port Liner Sannomiya Station, but it seemed to be closed now. That's a shame.
The cafes in Mint Kobe (a shopping mall) are close to that Station, so I recommend those.
Coin Lockers
To be honest, I don't remember much about coin lockers.
So, it's best to check this website!
There are many coin lockers in front of Sannomiya Station, so I think it's good to check for availability there first.
Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya Station (West Exit) and Kobe Municipal Subway Kaigan Line Sannomiya Hanadokei-mae Station are a bit far, but they might have more availability.
I also vaguely remember that there were a few coin lockers for bus terminal users in the basement of Mint Kobe. But I'm not sure.
If you still can't find any, you can try looking in Santica (a shopping street).
