Welcome to my notes

What am I doing here, writing my thoughts, feelings, and ideas on this app? There is very little chance that anyone will see my words. I think that sort of unintentional privacy offers some sense of safety. It is not because I want to hide. I want to be seen. I hope to share, and connect, and bond with other people. We all need a space to be with one another sometimes. It is good to interrupt the loneliness of being with your own thoughts by sharing them. Even if this is never seen or read by anyone. I am happy to leave a record of my thoughts for anyone who reads this. To hold a moment together, across time and distance, even if it is brief. This moment, we are together my friend. And we are not alone.
