A living legend who represents contemporary Argentine music. Composer/pianist/singer and poet who has gained deep trust and wide support as a spiritual pillar of the neo-folklore scene.

🎹ハナキフ(Hanakiv/Estonia🇪🇪)

Pianist/sound artist/composer originally from Estonia and currently based in London. His music is based on classical, emotional melodies, grand/upright/prepared pianos, and analog synths, and incorporates elements of electronica.The music has been created by artists such as fellow great Arvo Pärt, Hauschka, Tim Hecker, and Aphex. - Her unique sound reflects the influences of Twin, Björk's ``Vespertine'' and her roots, including the chants and traditional music of her hometown Estonia, and the beautiful beaches and forests.

🎹ビュシュラ・カイクチャ(Büşra Kayıkçı/Turkey🇹🇷)
🏰建築家ピアニスト🎹

Pianist and architect. Born in Istanbul. Studied piano, ballet, and art since age 9, and studied interior architecture and environmental design at university. Kaikucha says, ``Studying architecture gave me a new perspective on art,'' and has been influenced by John Cage, Michael Nyman, and others, and began his music creation career in earnest around 2019.

About a year ago, I started composing and performing with Miu Sakamoto, and we have continued to discuss and share not only music, but also everything from what's happening in the world to the small things of everyday life. Through continuous collaboration, our music continues to move.

THE PIANO ERA（ザ・ピアノエラ）は、世界と日本のピアニストを招いて開催されるフェスティバルです。ジャンルを超越した独自のピアノ音楽を披露し、弾く者の音から染み出る音楽性や個性、生まれ育った文化や地域性を感じ取ることができます。

2022年のフェスティバルにはテリー・ライリーや高木正勝が出演し、ジャズやクラシック、アンビエントなど、さまざまなジャンルのピアノ音楽が披露されました。2024年のフェスティバルでは、世界から日本から、ピアノ音楽の現在と未来に出会うことができます。

THE PIANO ERA is a festival that invites pianists from around the world and Japan. We present unique piano music that transcends genres, allowing you to feel the musicality and individuality of the players, as well as the culture and region in which they were born and raised.


The 2022 festival featured appearances by Terry Riley and Masakatsu Takagi, and featured piano music in a variety of genres, including jazz, classical, and ambient. At the 2024 Festival, you can discover the present and future of piano music from all over the world and Japan.
