わたくしどもは。』は、江戸時代、戸籍を剥奪され、佐渡金山での過酷な作業で亡くなった“無宿人”たちからインスピレーションを得たという、富名哲也監督のオリジナル作品。ヴェネツィア国際映画祭が新鋭監督を支援するプロジェクト「Biennale College Cinema」の2018-2019インターナショナル部門に選出された企画を、長編映画として完成させた作品だ。

This is a feature-length film that was selected for the 2018-2019 International Division of the Venice International Film Festival's ``Biennale College Cinema,'' a project that supports up-and-coming directors.
