Did you enjoy Kyohei Sorita's playing and the all-Beethoven program?
いわゆる「傑作の森」と評される時期に生み出された作品の一つであり[5]、ナポレオン率いるフランス軍によってウィーンが占領される前後に手がけられている。ベートーヴェンが生涯に完成させたオリジナルのピアノ協奏曲全5曲の中では最後となる作品であり[6]、かつ初演に於いて他のピアニストに独奏ピアノを委ねた唯一の作品でもある。
It is one of the works produced during the so-called ``Forest of Masterpieces'' [5], and was created before and after Vienna was occupied by the French army led by Napoleon. It is the last of the five original piano concertos that Beethoven completed during his lifetime,[6] and the only one for which he entrusted solo piano to another pianist for the first performance.
