💐園遊会💐The garden party💐
The garden party is hosted by Their Majesties and held twice in the spring and fall at Akasaka Gyoen National Garden in Minato Ward, Tokyo, and their eldest daughter, Princess Aiko, attended for the first time.
At last year's spring and fall garden parties, which were held for the first time in five years, food and alcohol were not served inside the venue due to the spread of the new coronavirus, but from this time onwards, light meals such as sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres will be served. After the offering resumed, Their Majesties and other members of the Imperial Family went around the garden and spoke peacefully with those who had been invited.
園遊会は両陛下の主催で春と秋の2回東京・港区の赤坂御苑で開かれていて、両陛下の長女の愛子さまも初めて出席されました。
5年ぶりに開かれた去年の春と秋の園遊会では、新型コロナウイルスの感染状況を踏まえて会場内での食事やアルコールの提供は控えられましたが、今回からサンドイッチやオードブルなどの軽食の提供が再開され、両陛下や皇族方は庭園を回って招待された人たちと和やかにことばを交わされました。
