タイトルの「アフターマス」は、戦争による余波の意味。MVは戦争の後で家族と離れ離れになってしまった若き軍人の物語が描かれ、言葉はなくとも観る者の心を捉えて離さない、“泣ける”ストーリーとなっている。

For the third time, the British three-man band MUSE has teamed up with Tekken, a comedian who works as a flip book artist. Muse asked them to create a flipbook for the music video (MV) for the song "Aftermath" from their new album "Drones" (released on June 10th). Tekken readily accepted the offer, and over the course of about three months he hand-painted approximately 2,100 original drawings.
Muse released the music video “Aftermath”, a collaboration between Tekken and Golden Tag.
The title "Aftermath" refers to the aftermath of war. The music video depicts the story of a young soldier who is separated from his family after the war, and it is a tear-jerking story that captures the hearts of viewers even without words.
両者のコラボは、鉄拳が2012年にテレビ番組の企画で描いたパラパラマンガ「振り子」のBGMとして、ミューズの楽曲「エクソジェネシス（脱出創世記）：交響曲第3部（あがない）」を使用したことが発端。YouTubeなどを通じて国内外で評判が広まり、ミューズのメンバーも感銘。同曲の公式MVとして「振り子」が採用されたのに続き、「フォロー・ミー」のMVでも鉄拳のパラパラ漫画が取り入れられた。
The collaboration between the two began when Tekken used Muse's song "Exogenesis: Symphony Part 3 (Redemption)" as the background music for the flipbook manga "Pendulum" that Tekken drew for a TV program in 2012. It all started. Its reputation has spread both domestically and internationally through YouTube and other channels, and Muse members are also impressed. Following the use of "Pendulum" as the official music video for the song, Tekken's flipbook was also used in the music video for "Follow Me".
