ELLEGARDENの生形真一とストレイテナーの日向秀和が新たにバンドを組むと聞いたときの驚きと興奮は今でも覚えている。あれから15年、彼らは日本のロックシーンにおいて確固たるポジションを築き、フルアルバム11枚をリリース。持ち曲は優に100を超える。そんなNothing’s Carved In Stone（以下、NCIS）が2月24日に東京・日本武道館にて＜15th Anniversary Live at BUDOKAN＞を開催した。バンドとしては五年ぶり二度目となる今回の日本武道館ワンマンは、全楽曲の中からファン投票によって選ばれた上位20曲と、各アルバムから1曲ずつセレクトした11曲でセットリストを構成するというスペシャルなライヴとなった。

I wonder what kind of "future" they were envisioning when they started this band. I still remember my surprise and excitement when I heard that ELLEGARDEN's Shinichi Ikugata and straightener Hidekazu Hinata were forming a new band. 15 years have passed since then, and they have established a solid position in the Japanese rock scene, releasing 11 full-length albums. He has well over 100 songs. Nothing’s Carved In Stone (NCIS) held their 15th Anniversary Live at BUDOKAN on February 24th at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. This is the band's second time at Nippon Budokan in five years.
