このドラマは、大阪の定時制高校に通う生徒たちが科学部を結成し、全国コンクールで優秀な成績を収め、「はやぶさ2」の基礎実験にも参加したという実話にインスパイアされています。藤竹叶は、博士号を取得し、世界的な学術誌に論文を発表するなど研究者として将来を有望視されていましたが、定時制高校の教師に転身します。生徒や教師、JAXA職員らと共に、自身の抱える課題と向き合い、人生の再起に挑む物語です。

This drama is inspired by the true story of students attending a part-time high school in Osaka who formed a science club, achieved excellent results in a national competition, and participated in the basic experiment of Hayabusa 2. Kano Fujitake was seen as having a promising future as a researcher, having obtained a doctoral degree and published papers in world-renowned academic journals, but he decided to become a part-time high school teacher. This is a story about how students, teachers, and JAXA staff work together to face their own challenges and try to rebuild their lives.
