Pianist Kyohei Sorita, who won second place at the 2021 Chopin Competition, came to Hong Kong and visited Steinway & Sons Gallery K11 Musea.


Sorita will be making her debut in Hong Kong when she performs with the Basel Chamber Orchestra (conducted by Andreas Ottensamer) on Tuesday, June 25th at Hong Kong City Hall.

バーゼル室内管弦楽団 Kammerorchester Basel

バーゼル室内管弦楽団（kammerorchesterbasel, Kammerorchester Basel）は、スイス・バーゼルに本拠を置く室内オーケストラである。


1984年にスイス音楽大学の卒業生らを中心に設立された。パウル・ザッハーが1926年に設立した旧バーゼル室内管弦楽団とは直接関係ないが、その精神を受け継ぎ、現代音楽を織り交ぜたプログラムを実施している。1999年にクリストファー・ホグウッドが首席客演指揮者となり、現在まで中心的な役割を果たしている。

2015年日本クラシック界を震撼とさせた若き鬼才といえば、もちろん反田恭平のことだ。今年5月「チッタ･ディ・カントゥ国際ピアノ協奏曲コンクール」古典派部門で優勝、7月にアルバム『Liszt（リスト）』でCDデビューするや「21世紀のリスト現る」と各方面より絶賛を浴び、9月には東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団・新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団の演奏会に相次いで客演し聴衆を熱狂させた。

Ask a young genius pianist


Speaking of the young genius who shook the Japanese classical music world in 2015, it is of course Kyohei Tanda. In May of this year, he won the classical division of the Citta di Cantu International Piano Concerto Competition, and in July, he made his CD debut with the album ``Liszt'', which received rave reviews from all quarters, saying ``the Liszt of the 21st century appears''. In September, he performed as a guest at concerts by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, thrilling the audience.
