[Osaka] "The Potential of Line Expression" 📍 The National Museum of Art, Osaka

[Tokyo] Mana Konishi "Wherever" 📍 Fuchu Art Museum


Mana Konishi’s first major solo exhibition spans from her iconic works of the 2000s to her latest creations. Her exploration of landscape painting has evolved from meticulous depictions of vast sceneries to a more spontaneous and lighthearted style in recent years. Her works, created during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflect a gentle and familiar charm. Enjoy these landscapes that feel both everywhere and nowhere.

[Tokyo] Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum Reopening Commemorative Exhibition "Absence" — Toulouse-Lautrec and Sophie Calle 📍 Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum


Celebrating its reopening, the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum presents Absence — a collaborative exhibition between Toulouse-Lautrec and Sophie Calle. Centered around Lautrec’s works, the exhibition explores the themes of "absence" and "presence," reflecting on human psychology and the passage of time. By examining Lautrec’s depiction of "presence," now transformed into "absence," the exhibition questions the evolving role of museums through the works left behind.
