This exhibition revisits the relationship between art and society through the lens of anarchism, exploring the power of artistic resistance and creative freedom. It features works from Neo-Impressionist painters, Situationist International members, and contemporary artist collectives. The show questions the potential of coexistence through creative acts that resist conformity—highlighting the notion that "choosing not to act" can be a powerful artistic statement.

[Ibaraki] Yuichiro Tamura "ATM" 📍 Art Tower Mito, Contemporary Art Gallery


In ATM, artist Yuichiro Tamura reimagines his past works through generative AI, creating new narratives based on a vast corpus of text data. By entrusting AI with the creative process of storytelling, the exhibition blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction. Tamura’s narrative-driven works reinterpret history and memory, offering a fresh perspective on past creations through AI-generated stories.
