Sometime, we are asked something by someone in the street. When I stayed in London, I used to be asked like "Give me a cigarette?" But most of them who ask to unknown people on the street want to know the place where they had to go.
Title : Where's the park? When she was clearing the weeds in front of house, the old man came from somewhere and asked her. "I'm trying to find a park." "Well, lot of park out here and there, so what kind of park you want to find?" She asked. "Park with no playground equipments. And, the little toilet on the corner." "No playground? Hmm, most of park I know are ones with playground, so I can't tell you what you..." "Actually, I want to visit a person. This person was living in the house across the toilet in the park. So if I could find the park, I think I can visit to the house." "I see. But sorry, I have no clue about the park you described." "Ah, but I went to the park before. I'm sure there's no slides nor swings. Just a little toilet on the corner. And across the toilet, the house was there. I also asked to the police, but they explained that they couldn't tell without the name of a park" "I seemed not able to help you." "Instead of me, can you hand this over to the person?" "What...the person?" "I want to visit, but it's hard and have no time. So if you recall and find the park, visit this person and hand this over." The old man handed the paper bag, and she asked. "What's this?" "A kind of lost item." She frowned, "A kind of? Who lost it?" "That person living in the house across the toilet at the park." What a strange situation, so she thought. She even doubted this old man has the dementia. Do I have to call the police? While she was minding how to handle this peculiar encountering, he left the paper bag in her hand and walked away. After the old man vanished into the corner of a street, she noticed that she missed to back the paper bag to him. So she run after him to the corner, but he was nowhere to be seen. She was left behind with a mysterious paper bag. Half confused, half intrigued, she opened it and found what's in there. She dumped it on the garbage can on the next morning, and the garbage truck retrieved it. Instead of that, maybe that's when all the things had be beginning to change.
Posted on "Loophole" by Helvetch The part, Helvetch hadn't unveil the content of a paper bag, would definitely divide the evaluation. Of course I wanted to know what's in there. Fruslating? Maybe. But the abrupt plot changing at the last part, and the ominous last passage have strange unique taste, after all that derailing conversation with the old man.
