Creation of forest bathing program by university students.
We provided practical guidance to university students in creating a forest bathing program.
After graduation, they aim to become nurses or public health nurses to support local medical care.
We decided to measure blood pressure and heart rate as a simple method to measure the effects of forest bathing.
Since there are fallen trees and slippery slopes in the forest, we stretched thoroughly before starting out.
We smelled the aromas of various trees to see how they differed and how pleasant they were, thereby enhancing the functioning of the five senses.
We will walk through the forest, looking for places where we feel comfortable, such as comfortable fallen leaves and sunlight filtering through the trees.
We will let ourselves go by hugging trees and shouting out loud.
We will spend relaxing time in the forest and heal our mind and body.
We also meet goats walking in the forest.
We were able to create a program that was unique to them by first enjoying ourselves and experiencing the healing power of the forest.
After graduating from the university, they will provide health guidance that incorporates forest bathing.
