Watching Downton Abbey, I Regret My Behavior
My favorite thing in the evening these days is watching Downton Abbey. I had always thought the historical drama would be stuffy, so I avoided it, thinking it wasn't the sort of program I'd want to watch after a long day at work. Comedy would be perfect for such a night. Now I'm really into it because people in Downton Abby are just like us even though we have a different lifestyle. They all have their problems and are under a lot of mental stress. It's the same for us in modern society.
For me, the most fascinating thing is seeing the resilience of the British aristocracy. They control their emotions perfectly and overcome awkward situations with witty conversation. Above all, I feel their class and dignity as human beings rooted in their attitudes and impressive strength of character.
Especially on days when I regret my behavior at work or with my family, the way characters in Downton Abbey behave keenly hit me. they consider the other person's feelings before speaking but They don't compromise e. Reflecting on my actions, it makes my heart ache. Being noble is not just about having money and assets, but also about having class and dignity.
When I think about it, “class” is something that is cultivated by respecting the existence of others. Selfish comments and attitudes make us feel like we're saying, "I want you to understand me," but we're only thinking about ourselves. Class may be something that is only available to people with a good vocabulary who have mastered the control of their emotions.
In fact, I have a lot to learn from Downton Abbey.
