PS4 ワイヤレスBluetoothでボイスチャット BT-W2

概要

PS5発売までゲーム消化が落ち着いたので現在はPS4を手放している状態ですが、MHW等でボイスチャットするときに重宝していたワイヤレスイヤホンの環境を紹介します。

I'm currently letting go of my PS4 as I've settled down to digesting games until PS5's release, but I'd like to introduce the wireless earphones that were useful for voice chatting in MHW and other games.

PS4で使うと

BT-W2はその筋では有名で、ワイヤレスイヤホンを使うだけならこれだけでOK。ですが、BT-W2でマイク機能が使えるのは、FastStreamというCreativeの規格に適合したイヤホンが必要。で、このFastStreamというのがなかなか無いわけです。で、Creativeの純正イヤホンなら間違いないということになります。少々高いですが、これを使えばマイクもイヤホンもコントローラーもすべてワイヤレスというかなりスマートな環境になります。

The BT-W2 is well known in that vein, and if you just want to use the wireless earphones, this is all you need. The microphone function on the BT-W2 is available to Creative's standard called FastStream. You need compatible earphones. And this FastStream is not so easy to find. So, the Genuine Creative earbuds are the right choice. It's a little expensive, but with this, you can use the microphone, earphones and controller all wirelessly. It's a pretty smart environment.

音質やつけ心地

一般的なBluetoothワイヤレスイヤホンという感じですが、耳への装着感は良く、低音が強めな印象です。マイクは操作ボタン付近にありますが、集音性も良し。普段ボイスチャットしていないときもゲームの音を楽しむには十分なイヤホンだと思います。スポーツ用ということもあってフィン付き。ただ、装着感は個人差でかいのでイヤーチップで調整すると思いますが、このイヤホンはイヤーチップが特殊な形状なので、一般的なカナル型イヤホンのイヤーチップが使えません。これだけはご注意を。

遅延

遅延は全然気にならないです。ボイチャ程度ならマイクも良好。Faststreamという規格が遅延少なめのようです。

The delay is not a problem at all. The microphone is good if it's just a voicemail, and the Faststream standard seems to have less delay.

バージョンアップした機種であるBT-W3が直販限定で発売されました。安いし低遅延aptX LLと高品位aptX HDをサポートしてるし今ならこれで完璧でしょう。Faststreamでなくても使えるマイクもついてるし。
