２－１　彼の作品：『橋ものがたり』
＊文章に詩情があり、人間の心の機微が巧妙に表現されている。

「橋の上に、雨が音を立てていた。はじめておひさと逢ったあたりまで来たとき、吉兵衛は立ち止まって後を見、また行く手を見た。浅草の方には、まだ灯明かりがにじんでみえたが、本所側は暗くて墨のような闇があるばかりだった。」（藤沢周平『橋ものがたり』-氷雨降る-）

２－１ His Works： "Bridge Stories“
＊There is poetry in the text, and the subtleties of the human heart are skillfully expressed.

　　　“The rain was making noise over the bridge. Yoshibei stopped at the place where he first met O-Hisa, looked back, and saw the way to go again. In around Asakusa, the lights were still getting blurry, but Honjyo (the main office) area was gloomy and in total darkness-like black ink.”
