２　（あらすじ　１）

　主人公の野江の実家は、家禄百二十石を頂き、父親は郡奉行を勤める藩内では上士に分類される家であった。5年前の18歳の時に津田という家に嫁に入ったが、2年前に夫に死なれ、子も出来なかったので実家に戻された。1年前、磯村の家に再嫁したが、いまはその再婚が失敗だったと思っている。家禄六十五石の磯村家は勘定方に勤めるれっきとした家中なのに、金貸しなどをして、一家挙げて蓄財に狂奔していた。それに、野江を「出戻りの嫁」と呼び、軽んじている。必死に磯村家に溶け込もうと努力したもののうまくいかず、自分を「出戻りの嫁」と軽んじている磯村家の者たちが欲しがったのは、自分ではなく実家との縁組ではなかったかと感じながら、野江は鬱々とした日々を過ごしていた。
 
2　 (Synopsis 1)
　　The main character, Noe's family, received a family stipend of 120 koku, and her father was a county magistrate and was classified as a senior samurai within the domain. Five years ago, when she was 18, she married into a house called Tsuda, but her husband died two years ago and she was unable to have children, so she was sent back to her parent's house. She remarried the Isomura family a year ago, but she now believes that the remarriage was a mistake. The Isomura family, with a stipend of 65 koku, is a respectable family who works as an accountant, but the whole family is crazy about accumulating wealth by lending money. In addition, they despise Noe, calling her a "returned daughter-in-law." She desperately tried to blend in with her Isomura family, but it didn't work out. Noe spent her days in a gloomy state while feeling that it was not her own marriage but her parent's family,
