今月の主配信「［英詩］Bob Dylan, 'Everything Is Broken'」で取上げた 'Everything Is Broken' ('Oh Mercy', 1989, 所収) の元の歌 'Broken Days' があまりにも良いので、それを取上げます。ディランはよく劣るヴァーションのほうを公式盤に入れると言われている例に当てはまります。つまり、'Broken Days' のほうが圧倒的に優れています。［主配信は '100 Songs' 掲載の歌を順に連載しています。］

アルバム 'Tell Tale Signs' (The Bootleg Series vol. 8, 2008, 下) に収められています (タイトルは 'Everything Is Broken' となっています)。
