became popular in the1990 s ,and a number of his masterpieces including"Liber tango"and " Adios Nonino" are now new standards for many performers, including those of classic music. This piece was made in 1962 when Piazzolla had formed his quintet and was enjoying his productive years.
Originally this piece was composed as theater music for Albert Munoz Rodriguez's stage play "Tango del Angel." Starting with a fugue, a despondent scene of a battle between demons and angels followed by the angels ' mortal defeat is depicted with fast tempo.
