シンプル簡単おりがみシャツ〜ルタオ風味〜／Simple & easy Origami shirt

アトリエまさにぃへ、ようこそ。
先月、両親の実家がある北海道に行ってきました。

Welcome to Atelier masanii.
Last month I visited to my parents' hometown Hokkaido.

で、今日のテーマはおみやげに買ったルタオのお菓子…ではなく、その包装紙が主役です。
Today's topic is a local sweets...its wrapping paper.

中央にワンポイントの絵柄とキャプション。
これは使えそうじゃない？
シャツ折れそうじゃない？
破かないよう慎重に開封、それから正方形にカットして…

There're a brand logo and patterns in the center, it must be suitable for Origami shirt.
After unpacking carefully, I cut it into square.

できました。これはイイですね！

Completed. I like it!

北海道の青空のように涼しげで、爽やかなシャツが完成。
絵柄や文字がここまでドンピシャにはまるとは、作った私自身も驚きです。

Cool & fresh shirt like the sky in Hokkaido has born.
The patterns fit its front side perfectly, it was unexpected!

実は今週末、外国の方と一緒に折り紙をする機会に恵まれまして。
「短時間でサクッと作れる」「和柄を楽しめる」といった条件のもと、思い出したのが今回のシャツです。
By the way I'll have an opportunity to make origami with foreigners this weekend.
"Easo & can be made soon", "Japanese traditional pattern enjoyable", under those conditions I chose today's model.

大人数だから実演だけでは心許ないと思い、写真＋日英併記のつきの手順書を用意しました。
イベント会場の方だけでなく、たくさんの方に折ってもらいたいと思い、ここでお披露目させていただきます。
It may not be enough with just my demonstration, so I prepared a diagram with pictures & captions.
I hoped not only the participants but also you to enjoy this model, so decided to post here.
ちなみに版権関係の観点で言い訳をしておくと…
このシャツ、何歳の頃から折っているのか記憶にないレベルの古い作品で、そもそも誰の創作かも分からないので、いっそ伝承作品とみなして公開に踏み切ったワケです。（やぶれかぶれ）
今後もし創作者が判明し、なおかつ折り図が現在流通している書籍で確認可能であった場合、この記事を残すかどうか…
まぁ、その時はその時ということで。
Asides, I'll make a excuse for the copyrights...
This shirt is so old model that I don't remember when I play at first, and I don't know who designed it. So I decided to publish it regarding as a traditional model.
If the original creator's name is revealed in the future and the diagram is exist as a current textbook, I'll think about whether I unpublish the post or not.

はい、そんな事情はこれくらいにして。
公開すると決めたら、まるっといっちゃいましょ！

せっかくなので、北海道の余談も少々。
今回の旅は前述のとおり、旅行というより帰省です。
まさにぃの実家は東京郊外にあるのですが、両親は共に北海道出身で、結婚後に上京してきたたんですよね。
特に、まだまだ元気なふたりの祖母に会うことが大きな目的でした。
この場をお借りして、ご紹介しましょう。
I might as well talk about Hokkaido.
This trip was homecoming rather than sightseeing.
My hometown is in Tokyo but my parents are form Hokkaido, they have moved after marriage.
I especially wanted to visit my grandmas who are still alive & well. Now I'll mention about them.

母方の祖母（86）は編み物と料理の先生で、今も時間を見つけては次々と作品を量産してます。
スキー帽や手袋、セーターまで何でも作ってしまうすごい人。
最近の流行りは「アクリルたわし」で、デイ仲間や身内に配りまくっているそうです。
「みんな家に吊るして飾ってしまうので、誰も使ってくれない」とのこと。そりゃそうだ。

My maternal grandma (86) is knitting & cooking teacher, even now she makes various works everyday. Ski caps, groves, sweaters, etc.
Recently she often make Acrylic scrubbing brush and presents to her friends.
She said "They hang it on the wall & display so nobody use for intended purpose". I think so too.

料理の腕前も健在です。
うまいんだこれが。

Her cooking skill was still amazing, so tasty!

父方の祖母（92）は、着物を一から作れるほどの腕前だったそうで。
昔の作品を１つ譲ってもらって、我が家の寝室に飾っています。
これ、絵画じゃなくて極細の編み物なんです！
（リリアン編みでと聞きましたが、詳しい方教えてください。）

My paternal grandma (92) has a great skill that she can make Kimono from textiles.
I was given one of them and display it in our bedroom.
This is NOT a painting, extra fine knitting art!
(Maybe it's "Lillian knitting" but not sure. If you know please tell me.)

あと父方は農家の本家なので、いちいちスケールがでかい。

And my father's family is farmer, so the surrounding view is vast!

道もでかい。
この矢印、雪国あるあるですよね？

The road is also vast.
This arrow is unique to the snow countries, isn't it?

「一家で焼肉をする」とのことだったので、行ってみたら広大なトラクター倉庫。
それ、内地ではBBQというのだよ。

"We'll do yakiniku" they said and I came in, it was a vast warehouse.
In my area, we call them BBQ.

こっちの人たちは焼肉も豪快です。

Their yakiniku were so exciting.

何から何までお世話になりつつ、懐かしい景色と相変わらずの面々に会えて、たくさん元気をもらった３日間でした。

They really welcomed me and I could visit nostalgic view, and dear family. I was empowered a lot!

ずいぶん脇道に逸れましたが、北海道まで行ったのに包装紙とシャツの話で終わってしまうのはアレかと思いまして。
現地で見たもの、感じたものの一部をお届けいたしました。
Although I got off the main topic, I showed you some memories because it may be boring if I talk about just only wrapping paper & shirt even though I went to Hokkaido.

そういえば、あちこちで旅行客が増えてきましたね。
主要なターミナル駅を歩いていると、大きなトランクを引いて歩く人をたくさん見かけます。
相変わらずコロナ禍が尾を引いていますが、こうして街に活気と笑顔が戻ってくるのは気持ち良いものです。
By the way, the tourists are get increased everywhere.
While wandering in some terminal station, I often see many people walking with large suitcase.
The effect of COVID still continues, but I'm happy that the city has been active again.

さて。
充電もできたことだし、私も今週末の国際交流に向けて準備を進めるとしましょう。

フォロワーさんからの情報提供により、祖母の作品は「文化刺繍」というジャンルであることが判明しました。ありがとうございました。

文化刺繍とは
下絵が描かれた布を、木枠にピンと張り、その布に何種類もの色のリリアンを解き、専用のペン型の針を使い下絵にそって刺し載せていく刺しゅうです。

My follower told me that my grandma't work is "Bunka shishu embroidery". Thank you so much!

It is an embroidery technique to taut a cloth with a rough sketch on a wooden frame, and sew various colors of untied lilians with dedicated needle along the rough sketch.
