妊娠絵日記：7ヶ月目「笑ってる！」

私たちは君を「凪(なぎ)くん」と呼びはじめたよ。
色んな名前の候補はあったけど、海の日に生まれる予定の君に「たとえ何があっても穏やかに広い心でいられますように。たとえ何もなくても満たされた心でいられますように。」と願いを込めて。
We started calling you, “Nagi”. Nagi means calm waves of the sea in Japan. No matter happens, we hope that you will always be calm and have a big heart. On days that you have nothing, we hope that you will always be fulfilled.

君はさらに激しく動くようになった。
私たちが歌うと踊って、包丁のトントンという音に反応して、食後にひと暴れして、タイトなパンツを履くと嫌がって押したり、私が寝る時には一人で遊んでいたよ。
You were hyper-active more than ever.
When we were singing, you danced. When I was cutting vegetables , you reacted with the sounds. When I ate dinner, you were giddy. When I wore tight pants, you pushed my stomach as if telling me that you don’t like it. When I went to bed, you were still having fun by yourself.

新型コロナ対策で国から緊急事態宣言が出たので、ほとんどお家にいたの。
お料理やお菓子を作ったり、君と楽しく暮らせるようにお父さんと一緒に本を読んだよ。1週間に一度だけ、出産の体力作りのために、夫婦でお散歩に行ったよ。その時にお父さんは私と君の写真を撮ってくれたんだ。
Our government declared SOE (State of Emergency) due to COVID-19 so we almost stayed at home every day. I did the cooking, made sweets and read some baby books in preparation for your arrival.
We went strolling neighborhood once a week to have a safe delivery and to build my physical strength. Dad took photos me and you.

生まれるまであと100日記念のパーティーをしたの！お父さんはズコットというイタリアのケーキを焼いてくれた。私もイタリアンを作ったよ。君の好きな葉酸が入った苺もたっぷり使ってね。
そうだ。iPadで絵日記を書き始めたのもこの時から。
We threw a party in celebration for 100 days til’ we meet you! Dad baked the cake called “zuccotto” in Italian. Then, I also cooked Italian dinner. We know that you love strawberries so we used a lot of them and they are rich in folate.
Oh, by the way, it was this time that I started drawing the illustration daily.

妊婦検診では君の可愛い顔が見れたよ！目をぱちくり、口をぱくぱくして、笑ってた😆お腹をぐりぐりされて楽しかったの？
2020.4のこと。
I can see your cutie face in my maternity checkup. You did blinking your eyes, opening and closing your mouth and laughing!! Did you fun while the doctor was checking my stomach?
