There is a certain café in Kyoto.
It only has 4 counter seats, and there is just one café staff member.
She welcomes you with a smile everyday, every time.

The café has had some event.

The café has had some event which is about coffee, a way to brew coffee lesson and a tasting event, since it opened. And it has some event that isn't about coffee also, English Night which is people gather to talk in English, Reading and Coffee Time, and a New Year Party.

The New Year Party.

One evening in January, there were some people to join the New Year Party at the café. At the party, the café staff member doesn't treat participants to dinner. Participants bring sweets and snacks from their own home town. Many people are from other prefectures and they would go back to spend time on new year with their families and relatives, therefore variety of sweets from all over Japan should gather at the party.
That is the New Year Party in the café style.

The purpose of the event.

The purpose of the event is to connect people with each other.
At the party, people who met first time each other talk together with coffee and sweets, and it was quite lively.
