Vijay Sethupathi as Muralitharan | Tamil Star MakkalSelvan Vijay Sethupathi is essaying the role of Srilankan legendary spinner Muttaih Muralitharan in his biopic. The film was officially announced recently and Titled as 800!
The motion poster & First look of this film was released just a while ago and VijaySethupathi as Muralitharan looked perfect apt to the Character. 800Movie is directed by MS Sripathy and produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures in association with Dar Motion Pictures.
800 Movie is primarily made in Tamil and will be later dubbed in all the South Indian languages, as well as Hindi, Bengali and Sinhalese.
Noted Musician Sam CS has been roped in as the music composer and RD Rajasekhar as the cinematographer.
The former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan bagged outstanding figures in his career. He took 800 Test wickets and 500 One Day International wickets and thus became the first player to bag 1,000 wickets combined in both one day international and test match. He made his debut in 1992 and announced his retirement on 7th July, 2010 from Test cricket format.
