The Indian government granted permission to reopen the theaters from tomorrow. It will take a while to reopen the single screens but the top multiplex chains like Inox, Cinepolis and others started operating in the major cities of the country. The multiplexes in Telangana and Maharashtra are All the multiplexes are busy screening old movies that released this year. Still to resume the operations as the state governments are yet to issue the instructions.

Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Bheeshma are the Telugu movies that are screened currently. The multiplexes will have to struggle for the next few weeks as there are no new and big releases. Also the 50% occupancy is not a satisfying factor for them. Some prominent films in Telugu will release from Christmas and biggies will release for Sankranthi. Several producers and distributors will meet soon to discuss about the releases and reopening of theatres in Telugu states.
