金曜夜

不気味な熱気

不必要なネオン

無駄な人影

卑猥な看板

派手な衣装

新宿は不思議な街

別に優しくもないし

汚いし

居心地もよくない

でも、不完全なところは

人間に似ている

誰もが自分の嫌な部分に蓋をして

どこか他人事

理想という嘘で自分を騙して

何とか大地に立ってる

新宿にいる人はみんなよそ者

それをバレないように振る舞う

架空の楽園に身を躍らせるだけ

どこかで

僕らはそれらを求めてる

不思議だけど

friday night
eerie heat
unnecessary neon
useless figure
obscene sign
flashy costumes

Shinjuku is a mysterious town
I'm not particularly kind
dirty
not comfortable

But the imperfection
resembling a human
Everyone puts a lid on what they don't like
somewhere else
Deceive yourself with the lie of your ideal
Somehow I'm standing on the ground

Everyone in Shinjuku is a stranger
act like it won't be found out
Just let yourself dance in an imaginary paradise

where
we are looking for them
