I’m going to mainstream school
I’m a secondary school student and I’m visually impaired. I’m from Japan but I’m living in England right now.
When I was in Japan, I spent time in a special school for visually impaired students. After I moved to England, I’ve decided to go to the school for visually impaired students as well. But I’m going to mainstream school in this September, because I would like to have a challenge that spend time with people who don’t have disability. In the future, I’ll spend time with a lot of sighted people, such as when I work and when I go out. So I thought it will be a good practice for me to get involved with them from now, and I’ll be able to do that from September.
Also, the school I’m going now is much more relaxing than mainstream school. Because (well being) is important for students, and i think that’s also okay, because all of the schools have different opinions. But I thought that I’ll be happier if I can be more busy.
I’m looking forward to go to mainstream school, and I’ll tell you how it is like in my articles.
Thank you very much for reading.
