おわりに

champion は優勝者とかチャンピオンというイメージが強いので、「支持する」という意味があって驚きですよね！！supportにも同じ意味があるのですが、TOEFLでも登場するchampionの方を紹介しました。中学校で習うような簡単な単語って意外と奥が深いですよね。
