Good Morning Note - a challenge
A beautiful arpeggio piece.
Looks easy but, it's not.
Right at the beginning the composer, Joe Satriani, puts in a chord, played
as an arpeggio, that must be held down so that all the notes
ring. But the chord is a five fret stretch - nearly impossible for my left
hand in the state it's currently in.
It's like a barrier put right at the beginning that you must overcome in
order to access the rest of the piece. Like it's saying, "Hey here's something
beautiful, but if you want it you must first climb this mountain.
This kind of mirrors many situations in life.
There are lots of YouTube guitarists who can do that stretch with (seeming)
ease.
For example:

Perhaps I've just been lazy and not working on my left hand?
Yeah, that sounds right. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to practicing.
so… 頑張ります!
