私に向かって目を細める仕草を嫌味なくしてくるフィリピン人。（彼らからしたら褒めている）
それはどうかと思うけど、、
今回は置いといて、、
Many filipinos （as my experience) smile and squint their eyes to imitate Japanese to me.
I know for them it's compliment. I don't think it's really nice but this time I don't talk about this. So let's move on.
多くの人が目がパッチリしていてとてもプリティーなフィリピン人だけど彼らにとってはコンプレックス。
だから私に向かって「細くてcute eyesね」って言ってくる。日本と真逆だったから馬鹿にしてるのかと思っていたけどガチ。
Most of Filipinos have round eyes/pretty eyes, but they prefer have slanted eyes （I'm sorry not sure to say that）
I thought they're trying to make fun of me/japanese, but I realized that it is not.
もう何回言われてきたかわからない。
（全く目なんてコンプレックスないけれど）
フィリピンでパーティーのようなものに現地の
友達と行った時にゲイの人と目が合って
彼女は私の顔を触って
「細くて可愛い目、皆んなにあればいいのに！」って言ってきた。
もう日本と真反対すぎて笑えてしまう😂
I don't even know how many times I was said by them.
One day I went kind of party with my filipino friend and a gay filipino stared at me and she touched my face and she said "sana all small eyes." (means I wish everyone has small eyes just like you.)
I can laugh because it's totally opposite from Japan.
日本では目が大きいのが可愛いとされていて
それで整形する人だっているし、二重のコマーシャルだってやってる。
そりゃ、そのような考えになってしまうのに無理はないよね🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️
Here in Japan, many people think round eyes are pretty.
Some girls do undergo plastic surgery and there's commercial about it.
It's no choice to think that way right.🤷🏻♀️
整形は私にとって最終手段で否定的には
思わないし、美を追求する人々は凄いと思う。
だけど外見の問題で落ち込む人がいるならば
その必要はない。
For me, plastic surgery is the lastest way/method and I totally don't think it's bad and i am surprised by people pursing the beauty.
But if you are depressed by your appearance, you don't need.
自分がコンプレックスに思っていることが
実はどこかの誰かにとって羨ましく思われることがあるということ。
Remember, things you have or depressed about yourself are actually someone's admiration❤️
