A day at the beach!
Hi, I`ve been on another break, getting settled into everyday life in Japan.
Next week I start my new job, as an English teacher. I have studied a course online & have (hopefully) thoroughly prepared myself for my classes. I look forward to it!
Today my partner & I went to the beach near Kobe, it`s called `Suma Smile Beach` < I wonder if its a play on words, as Suma sounds like Summer ;) >
It was such a refreshing experience, the beach was well organised, clean & had floatie tubes for hire & free parasols placed down.
We had `koroket` & brought some snacks from the Konbini at the station. (which was right in front of the beach!) I thought the trains would be noisy but it wasn't noticeable with all of the happy beachgoers & music.
I joined in for some water volleyball with some strangers, and afterwards my partner & I enjoyed swimming and playing in the ocean.
Later on in the evening we took a stroll & had dinner at a restaurant called `Red Lobster`, delicious food & afterwards we ended the night by sitting by the families lighting fireworks by the beachside. It was a splendid experience!
Thank you for reading!!
