Robotos's motto is to support people to be creative

I'll hold a live painting event with Robotos team next week. It's a great opportunity to write down my thoughts, so I'll write about my first contact with Robotos, and the motto of Robotos.

My contact with Robotos

I met Robotos on October 2021. I got to know that the creator of Avataaars has his own NFT collection, and Robotos owners can get Robopets for free. And, I adopted my first roboto using my stocked crypt currencies.

Robotos is a 10K NFT collection released on August 2021. In June 2021, someone released an NFT collection using free assets made by Pablo (Bottts, using the assets is okay under its license), and earned much money. Pablo accidentally knew that thing, and he thought that “there is a community who loves his art”. And then, he started his own project. That is Robotos.

Pablo Stanley's motto

Pablo’s motto is “to support people to be creative”. He explains the process of getting that motto in Confessions of a flawed designer. Because he had been in the competitive environment as a digital product designer, he had been trying to guard his pride. And so he couldn’t respond to her mother’s question “What are you doing?” well. He thought about that topic, and finally got the motto of “to support people to be creative”.

From that perspective, Pablo’s activities has been consistent. Pablo founded Blush Design, and he distributed free assets like Avataaars and Humaaans. Also, he started workshops called Sketch Together and he released many tutorial YouTube videos. Then, he started Robotos. Robotos has a special license, with which each robotos owner can use their robotos for anything they want, including commercial use. All of these activities are to make people creative.

Technology of Robotos Team

Bueno

The Robotos team also has high technology skills. By generalizing their experience of creating Robotos and Robopets, they released the service called Bueno. By using Bueno, people can generate NFT collections easily using various image assets. Many projects including WonderPals and Galverse use Bueno.

Microverse

Robotos team are now focus on creating the 2D metaverse, called microverse. Each robotos holder will have their own land in the microverse, and can make their own world on that. It’s like an old RPG game and people can not only design the spaces, but also put NPCs on the land, allow users to mint NFT items there and do various things on that space. The microverse lands will be distributed not only to Robotos holders, but other project holders, too. It’s very Robotish.

Pablo Stanley's another art, HumanKind

Recently, Pablo started a new art project called HumanKind. Organizing an NFT project is more hard work than it looks like. So, he started his own art project to heal himself. It's not an NFT project now, but its illustrations are super cute.

Mural

Their motto “to support people to be creative” is not limited to the crypt and blockchain world. The Robotos team has been drawing murals in Mexico, NYC and Miami. By drawing murals, they changed environments and inspired people.

And this time, the team will draw a 12 meters wide art in SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE with Japanese artists!! I can’t wait to see what happens here!

Don't forget Robotos Animation Series

I forgot to introduce an important plan. Robotos had a partnership with TIME Studios and they will release an animation series later this year. Stay tuned!!
