仕事始め。

1月3日（日）

明日提出の原稿に向けて、本日で仕事始め。夜はプロボノのオンラインミーティング２本。私、新年からエライ！

原稿はここ数年私がずっと書きたいと思っていた題材なので、筆が乗る。しかし諸事情により匿名で掲載するものなので、詳しくはお伝えできない（国家秘密をいよいよ明かす的なものではございません、念のため）。

新作のファッションアイテムの紹介にしろ、美容の旬な情報にしろ、著名人のインタビューにしろ、私が編集者やライターとしてしたいことは、世の中の女性を元気にするのに少しでもいいから役立つこと、なのだとつくづく思う。「こんな良い情報あったのね！」と気づいてもらうことでも、「こんな考え方があるんだ」と新たな視点を持ってもらうことでも、ププっと笑ってもらうことでも何でもいい。とにかく女性を笑顔にすることに貢献したい。それは、もしかしたら私が女性として生きずらさを感じているからかもしれないし、何かのコンプレックスなのかもしれない。

だから今回の原稿には特に熱が入るのですヨ！「もったいぶってないで何を書いているのか教えろよー」という声が聞こえてきそうですが、秘密です、ごめんなさい。ミステリアスな女でいさせてください、せめてSNS上ぐらいは♪

The first work day of the year.

Many people may be still on New Year holidays, but I started working today. Tonight, I’ll have two online meetings of my volunteer work. Very good fresh start for 2021, isn’t it!?

The manuscript I wrote today is about the topic I've always wanted to write for the last few years, so I was able to make good progress in writing. It will be posted anonymously, so I cannot spill you the detail though.

Writing this article makes me realize that what I want to achieve as an editor and writer is to invigorate women through the media. I want to contribute in making women smile and in giving them a ray of hope. Maybe it is because I'm having a hard time living as a woman in Japan.

Yes, I can feel your excitement “Spill the beans. Tell me what you're writing, come on!”. But again, it's a secret, I'm sorry! Let me be a mysterious woman, at least on SNS!
