We’re thrilled to share 🌍🚀 Starlink satellite communication services are being installed across the Koyo Kaiun Group’s entire ocean-going fleet! By FY2025, 90-100% of our vessels will be equipped, with plans to expand to 100% in the near future.

A revolution in connectivity! 🌌 It uses small satellites in low orbit to deliver communication speeds up to 50x faster. Our trials showed incredible benefits—seafarers can now make video calls with family ❤️ and enjoy streaming 📺—enhancing life onboard like never before.

This initiative improves seafarers’ quality of life 🌊💙 and supports our digital transformation (DX) goals. Real-time info sharing ⚡ between vessels and shore will optimize operations and ensure seamless support for our fleet.We are in the process of equipping all ocean-going vessels owned by the Koyo Kaiun Group with Starlink satellite communication services. By the end of fiscal year 2025, we plan to have approximately 10 vessels outfitted with this system.
