【English】
A Bittersweet Day
I woke up at 6:10 and got ready before heading to the convenience store to buy sweets for my teachers and friends who will be leaving soon.
After catching up on yesterday's diary, I had breakfast and reviewed some vocabulary I’d been saving up.
In class, I felt a pang of sadness knowing these would be my last lessons with my current teachers tomorrow.
I made the most of today, chatting a lot with them.
I was especially happy to hear them share stories about love
—it made the atmosphere warm and engaging.
It was one of those days when English flowed naturally for me.
It felt so good to express myself clearly, which gave me the confidence to keep talking more!
After class, we played cards as usual and later went to Pizza Volante for dinner.
The pizza and pasta were delicious
—I ate so much!
Afterward, we visited Baguio Mansion House to see the Christmas light display.
The sparkling lights were stunning, far exceeding my expectations.
I was completely captivated by their brilliance.
We stopped by the convenience store to grab a few things, and then we parted ways.
One of my friends, who is graduating tomorrow, didn’t meet the attendance requirement to receive a diploma.
To make up for it, I created a handmade gift using the materials I bought.
With a friend’s help, it turned out beautifully ✨.
Unfortunately, I’ve had a headache all afternoon.
Tonight, I’ll write my diary, do a bit of studying, and prepare myself for what’s sure to be a long and emotional day tomorrow.
