A Busy and Fulfilling Day
Last night, I studied until 11 p.m., then returned to my dark room to take a shower.
I went to bed around midnight and woke up at 6:30 a.m.
After getting ready for the day, I checked my letters and had breakfast.
I made a quick trip to the convenience store to grab some groceries and then got straight to studying.
By mid-morning, I was so sleepy that I decided to take a nap.
The classes were quite advanced, so there wasn’t much time to relax.
However, all the teachers were highly skilled and had a great sense of humor.
As long as I'm willing to have fun, the lessons are incredibly rewarding.
After lunch, I collapsed into bed for a short rest.
Since the post office closes at 5 p.m., I skipped my last class and took a taxi there.
At the counter, I sent three letters
—two to Japan and one to Australia
—for just 164 pesos.
I got to place the letters in the mailbox myself, and it was a surprisingly meaningful experience.
I hope they reach my grandparents and host family safely.
Afterward, I went shopping at SM Mall, picking out sweets for myself, for Christmas, for graduation, and for Australia.
Although they were a bit pricey, choosing them was a lot of fun!
I hurried back home, worried about missing dinner, and made it in just over 30 minutes.
Since I haven’t been walking much in the mornings lately, the exercise felt refreshing✨.
After dinner, I spent some time writing in my diary and studying.
I’ve also decided to start learning some Australian English to prepare for the next step in my journey.
